PVMA Election coming soon!
| Hi Neighbor, As you most likely are not aware (because it was not announced ahead of time, and was only posted on the bulletin board at the pool), the Board had a budget meeting on Tuesday, October 1st at 3pm (very convenient time for working folks). Some of us heard about it last minute, and were able to attend, and here are a few random notes: – Dues will increase $2/monthIncreased insurance and energy/maintenance costs for the pool were the primary reasons cited for the increase (per Steve G, the pool is the single largest expense , which matches the annual disclosure) – Steve G, the current president, is not running (but may still be on the ballot). He also laughed at a homeowner during the homeowner comment period (which was subsequently called out as unprofessional by another homeowner), and also directed LLW properties to send “email blasts” to improve communications (improved communications was one of the reasons Willis was dropped in favor of LLW) – Steve G mentioned that he has “alot going on” and asked that someone else be president, and Scott Tepley was voted in as president. Those are the “high points”. As you may have seen , the (HOA) election is very soon. The bylaws require that 5% of all households vote, or the current board is automatically re-elected. Please encourage anyone and everyone you can to vote, and to vote for Ryan and Dennis, who are both committed to bringing sanity back to the HOA.As more information becomes available, we will try to keep everyone updated Thanks! –Your neighbor |
